my weekend

and I am back again - bit of a surprise to me to be blogging again lol. As I said things have slowed right down for me so its nice to sit here and waffle a bit. Had a lovely weekend with Doug - did some more shopping Christmas and food. Spent a morning at the golf shop with Dan spending his birthday money - result one very happy chap. Had lunch at Cafe Rouge, watched the Hitchin christmas light switch on and did a couple of 5km runs. Doug pottered around in the garden - he is looking to fence in an area for a couple of pigs!!!! and I scrapped.
I did the ribbon challenge for Twisted Sketch #129

remember me?

Goodness has it been that long.........ahhhhh well its not like I HAVE to write it is it?. To be honest I have fell a little bit out of love with my blog mainly because mac will no longer be supporting the application I use - not yet it will stop next year but it means going back to blogger. That in itself is not a problem except using iweb is so much quicker and easier I hate blogger and all the uploading stuff. Plus I haven’t been at all crafty - done a few bits and bobs but need to get back into it.
I guess now lots of my commitments have ended I (hopefully) will have time to blog again. I have been bogged down with helping to organise a Wine and Food Festival which happened at the weekend - it was FABULOUS and great to see all our hard work pay off by raising loads for charity. I also have been working for school both in school as cover and in my role as governor so not a moment to spare.
So here is a little of what I have been up to

A big year for us this year as we (my school pals) all reach 50 so we all met up. Some of us still live locally and see each other occasionally, Karen travelled 5 hours to join us - It was FABULOUS the year just fell away it was just like being back at school- and just as noisy! We aim to do it all again at Easter.
A few Christmas card for Scrap Revolution

A LO of my San Francisco Hi-light - with the words of my all time fave group 10cc
Alcatraz - is like a home sweet home

Maybe I will be back soon - that is you are still with me and haven’t given up lol
