The City of London

was where we walked around on Sunday - it was lovely very sunny, windy but bright and cheerful. I can't remember the last time I wandered around the city - Doug does it daily. We went armed with our London Walk book and walked and read for a few hours.

This was the book we used. We have done loads and still have more to do

We came back via Ally Pally and in spite of the Stamp and Scrapping show being held there I wasn't at all tempted - sure sign I have far too much stuff :)

In an effort to use some of said 'stuff' I did do a couple of LO's this week with mum and Margaret.
Prom Night

TGI Friday

I love Fridays I do - usually start of with a breakfast meeting and then home and bung something in the slo-cooker and before long everyone is home for tea and its the weekend. This Friday isn't any different, Rotary breakfast done, beef bouguignon in the slo-cooker smells lovely and now a bit of web time before I start to get some scraping ready for Saturday. This Saturday Steph is coming to play - I can't wait it's been ages so I am really looking forward to catching up. Plus I have done very little scrapping this week so I need my fix. Then on Sunday Doug is running a 10 mile race so I will be supporting him - from the sidelines :)

I did this LO last weekend for the sketch over on Crafty Sketches I loved the crookedist (blimey is that a word - how is it spelt!!!) street in San Francisco and took loads of pictures so when I saw the sketch required 4 photos I knew what I was going to do

remember me?

Goodness has it been that long.........ahhhhh well its not like I HAVE to write it is it?. To be honest I have fell a little bit out of love with my blog mainly because mac will no longer be supporting the application I use - not yet it will stop next year but it means going back to blogger. That in itself is not a problem except using iweb is so much quicker and easier I hate blogger and all the uploading stuff. Plus I haven’t been at all crafty - done a few bits and bobs but need to get back into it.
I guess now lots of my commitments have ended I (hopefully) will have time to blog again. I have been bogged down with helping to organise a Wine and Food Festival which happened at the weekend - it was FABULOUS and great to see all our hard work pay off by raising loads for charity. I also have been working for school both in school as cover and in my role as governor so not a moment to spare.
So here is a little of what I have been up to

A big year for us this year as we (my school pals) all reach 50 so we all met up. Some of us still live locally and see each other occasionally, Karen travelled 5 hours to join us - It was FABULOUS the year just fell away it was just like being back at school- and just as noisy! We aim to do it all again at Easter.
A few Christmas card for Scrap Revolution

A LO of my San Francisco Hi-light - with the words of my all time fave group 10cc
